A Special Kind of Treatment in a Kind and Special Place

Pemarro is a non-profit organization that provides cost effective, sub-acute, medically managed detoxification and treatment services in a peaceful and natural setting to those suffering from substance use disorders and mental health concerns.

In 2020, Pemarro became part of the Stepping Stone family of services, and the board of directors saw the need for a brand refresh. Pemarro was loved by many as an institution, but the visual front-end had become secondary to the clinical services. Avenir conducted a brand strategy workshop with the organization’s stakeholders and developed a brand refresh that incorporated both Pemarro’s bucolic setting in Ramona, California, as well a nod to the three founders and its new connection with Stepping Stone.
